“BAG” MUSIC VIDEO & BTS IN ICELAND.

I had the privilege of shooting 2nd DP work and behind the scenes footage in the beautiful country of Iceland.

The project was orchestrated for the very talented, Irish Jak for his single “BAG”. I worked with my business partner and close friend, Aiden Thomas (Director) along with our runner and driver, Aaron Bounds.

For this particular shoot, Myself, Aiden, and Jak embarked on a journey to Northern Ireland as well as various locations in the South in order to capture footage for Jak’s latest single, “Cope.”

BTS in ireland “COPE”

An amazing 5-day shoot at various locations - an old mansion in Omagh, a beautiful cabin by a lake in Galway, and the Armagh Observatory with a telescope from 1895.

I held the role of 2nd Director of Photography (DOP) and Behind-the-Scenes (BTS) Photographer. In this position, I had the invaluable opportunity to showcase my skills in capturing video footage for a concise documentary detailing our collective journey and delving into the narrative behind Jak's powerful song.

IRISH JAK “INFERNO”

BTS

This day was truly spectacular, capturing behind-the-scenes photos for Jak's lates single, "Inferno." Our shooting location was set in my homeland of South Wales at a rented theatre. The talented Cheyenne Peach dazzled us with her performance for the music video. In addition, we teamed up with Fool Throttle, a drift team from the UK, who skillfully contributed impressive drifting scenes, resulting in stunning shots. The day concluded at an abandoned building where we simulated a house fire with the help of smoke grenades and ambient lighting, adding a captivating touch to the overall shoot.

“HYPNO” BTS

This shoot was truly a special one for many reasons. Not only was it the last installment and final track for Jak’s highly anticipated album, but it also marked a significant milestone—an entire year dedicated to working on the creative journey that is the B.L.T.N project.

For this exciting project, I took on several roles as the Director of Photography, photographer, and editor for the behind-the-scenes content. My focus was on capturing not only the talented individuals involved but also the intricate processes and fun shenanigans that occurred during the creation of the music video.
